Ive been playing alot lately, ALOT, i keep trying to multi table 1/2 PLO but it isnt working out, everyone hits their draws and i never hit mine. Ive been taking shits at the 25/50 PLO tables and its up and down. The first day i went down $10K, can up 15K then back down 3K. I took a day off then lost $5K of $1000 buy in where every one of my made hand got crushed.

I played HU vs Kaintd77 on Tilt last night, i was up about 4K on him but got off my game and left only up $1500, i took another shot at 25/50 after losing some stupid sessions at 1/2 and turned 1800 into a pritty 4800.

I think this $ might go towars my spain trip at the beginning of august!!!

Well, ive been playing quit a bit this week but really getting no where. The only tourney i seem to be able to do well in is the $30 Omaha Rebuy on Full Tilt Poker. This is the 3nd time at the FT for me in 4 attempts i think, this one being right after the last. I got 7th and 4th before, lets see how i do this time.

I am going deep in tons of tournaments, seems every time i get in good position i get busted in 19th, 22nd, 17th, 7th, places that pay but barely make it worth my time to participate in tournaments. Its getting really frustrating and i want to just go back to cash games but im not rolled for the stakes i like to play.

I played the daily dollar a few days ago, this hand came up, i raised pre flop and checked the flop, hd51788 pushed all in on the flop with A8 and the 2 flush draws called. I couldn't believe the action, i called and knocked out 3 players when the blinds where still 20/40. Guess the $1 toruenys dont bring out the pros. I went to get 30th out of about 8000

I recently Played the 3am Turbo Hundo On Full Tilt Poker. I got third in the tournament taking down $3000. The big story about this cash is that when we were down to about 100 players from the 250 starting i got crippled to 10 chips. The starting stack is 2000 and the blinds were 75/150 at this point. I was all in for many hands in a row and then when i was at 260 chips tripled up with QJ on a JJ10 flop. From there on my high point was 150 000 and i was all in 3 handed with A6 vs 73 vs the chip leader who barely had me covered. The 7 came and i went out in 3rd.

So... never give up, you can come back

Phil Ivey Does it Again

Phil Ivey won his 2nd Bracelet for 2009 in the Omaha8/Stud8 mixed tournament. He won $220538 after beating Ming Lee in a short Heads up Battle. Lee took home $136292 for 2nd.

Some Poker games seem to have turned into a Bad Beat quest, Personally i think the beat beat jackpot ruins the game and kills action. On Ultimate Bet the bad beat jackpot is over $350K at the moment, meaning a player playing at $.25/$.50. Its almost impossible to win at these stakes as they take $.50 out of every pot for the jackpot and the action is nowhere to be found.

I was playing 2/4 Limit Omaha Hi/Lo today at Full Tilt Poker when this hand transpired. Holding a good H/L hand I entered the pot for a discount in the small blind. I them proceeded to flop trip aces and a nice low draw. The turn gave me the Nuts for the high pot and a good low to go along with it. Tonky77 and I capped the betting on the turn and river when I held the virtual nuts. I ended up scooping the pot as he was raising with a decent high and no low. Tonky77 put a good portion of his stack in the pot with his only hope being to win half the pot and his investment back. The only time you should be re-raising in Omaha H/L is when you either have a strong high and low hand or your holding a Nut high. Never put a lot of money in the pot with the nut low heads up or 3 handed as there is a good chance that you will get a quarter of the pot by facing your opponents high hand and identical low to yours. This is why playing solid poker and being patient can be very profitable online. This ended up being an $80 pot that was built up by an inexperienced player. What are your opinions of the players online and the experience of the players there?

I was a believer that online Texas Holdem had become tight and unprofitable for a squeezer like me. My mind was changed when I joined a table at Full Tilt Poker with one of my affiliates yesterday and turned $50 into $400 in about ten minutes. We were playing $1/2 NL and there was a player, cajun2004, who was giving money away. He was calling all in with Ace high and raising crazy amounts, up to $30 pre-flop. Remarkably people kept doubling him up with weak draws or weak aces and he kept the game gambling and giving chips to me. I stopped playing after I pushed cajun2004 all in with his last $80 on a 655 flop with my pocket tens. cajun2004 held K4 and the turn gave him a straight draw and the river completed the straight. So here is evidence that there are still donkeys in the online rooms, drunk or otherwise, but watch out for the suckouts.
